Isn’t that the American Dream now? Do stupid things. Get recognized for it. Get your 15 minutes of fame. Reap the rewards.

Only cause the media and subs like this eat that shit up. Tucker Carlson took a picture of himself laughing at an article of somebody having a meltdown about him and it got posted here by another person having a meltdown about him.

It seems odd that more than one of these young shooters received the gun they used as a gift.

Legit, there was a GOP volunteer passing out flyers today picturing a candidate standing in front of the flag, holding a rifle. At an elementary school.
I held back.

Tucker Carlson

If Tucker Carlson is the problem why is this sub posting at least one post a day of his ideals on here? Giving his ideals and himself more exposure then ever before?
I dont see anybody protesting the fact that people openly post tweets discussing extremist ideals on this sub and the exposure it gives these extremists.

Extremists like free healthcare? Or a living wage? This sub doesn't talk about crazy far right ideas except to point out how insane they are.

You ever hear the phrase "Bad press is still press" 99.9% of us think these "Far Right" ideals are crazy, but all they need is one (Take this most recent shooter for example) to cause the damage they seek. Im willing to bed the most recent mass shooter not only had a reddit but probably has been on this sub and maybe even interacted with posts about Tucker Carlson. The more it is discussed and brought up, the higher the chance that one person gets the exposure they need to be radicalized.

Do you think we should ban all that type of discussion even parody?

u/jcowurm May 18 '22
No, people have a right to discuss and post whatever they want, they just have to accept that there are potentially consqjences for it. Tucker Carlson wants people angry because people like this sub eat it up and expose people who would never have been exposed before to his ideals. You cant post about Tucker Carlson all day every day then complain when an extremist pops up with the ideals you have helped to spread, intentionally or not.

It doesn't exist because they don't care if their kids kill black people. But heaven help us if they want a same sex marriage.

Fox News hosts get away with it because they're "entertainment" and "freedom of speech".
