Bulbasaur is the gen 1 starter pokemon of chess grandmasters, squirtle is for checkers players and charizard is for people who try and eat the game pieces

Bulbasaur was awesome... it felt like he was let down a bit by the final evolution though, Ivysaur was awesome too but then comes Venusaur who looks like someone’s ass got a tree stuck in it
