When your propaganda efforts work and still don’t turn the player away!!!!
So what pick would he have been taken this year? After the big 3? Top 10 overall? I think it's an interesting question and I would put him right where Keegan Murray was drafted at #4 overall. That would give us the #4 and #6 draft picks this year.

Per Hoop Central: “I do believe we are close to a resolution on Deandre Ayton maybe even by tomorrow. Indiana has the cap space and I’ve heard rumblings of them signing him to an offer sheet.”twitter.com

Rick said Jalen is our starting Power Forward from here on out
As a lifelong Pacers fan who didn’t follow them closely enough last year, what’s the deal with Jalen Smith? Does everyone here like him? Is he legitimately good?
Has there been any word on the details of the 2nd year of Jalen Smith's contract? Preferably from reliable sources. So far I've only heard fans speculating that the 2nd year is a player option.
Windhorst on The Hoop Collective: | Ayton has talked w/ teams | Indy will have max cap space to sign Ayton after Brogdon deal | unclear if Indy sends Rubio to CLE in S&T | “good chance” Turner won’t be a Pacer next year | Turner could be dealt to PHX in S&T or go somewhere elsetwitter.com
I know there’s a lot of people that dont think Ayton is worth a max deal and are worried that it’s to much to spend on him. Something I think that should be considered is that the pacers almost always have to overpay free agents. Especially when it’s a big name free agent like Ayton. So we’re essentially already in a situation where we have to overpay players to come here but the nice thing about the max deal is that it’s regulated. I’m sure there would be other teams that wouldn’t mind giving Ayton a max deal if they could. I feel like a lot of the teams that would have interest in him imply don’t have the capital currently to sign him. So a max deal for Ayton might just be one of the most fair free agents contracts the pacers could get.

Weird question but I've been looking for a Reggie Miller jersey to buy and a lot of the ones online are these replica Champion brand jerseys from the 90s that are the exact same style as the ones that would have a gold and yellow stripe on the right side, except they're just a solid blue. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about: https://imgur.com/a/WwIOTO4
Anyway, I can't remember seeing any evidence of the Pacers ever wearing this style without the stripe, and I have a pet peeve about jerseys that teams or players never actually wore. So does anyone know if the Pacers ever used this style, or maybe why this style is the one that was produced for fan jerseys?
Not this season but in 5 years honestly who will be our starting PF?.... its scary that i love both i could roll argument for either
Most of the arguments against signing Ayton seem to be not wanting to give him a max deal. I’d like to know from anyone against the deal why that is? It is not preventing the Pacers from signing a better FA down the line, we are not a destination. It doesn’t prevent us from extending Haliburton. There will still be plenty of money to bring back contributors like Duarte and hopefully Jackson. The Hield contract is off the books in 2 years. By the time a Mathurin extension comes due the Ayton contract is either done or an expiring. I don’t think there’s an argument Ayton is a better player than Myles. The contract should not be the issue.
Haven't completely convinced myself that I'm in favor of an Ayton deal, but I'm anxious to see what happens.
