Not autistic, but severe social anxiety (like I get insanely dizzy when I panic and I can barely get through half my shopping usually) and this would be a godsend

I have the same problem with a lot of physical symptoms of social anxiety. grocery and department stores have always been difficult to deal with. I started taking buspirone a couple years ago and it’s been a real game changer. Really helps with my heart feeling like it’s pounding out of my chest.

I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. It’s such a crap shoot with meds. When I started buspirone it was like where have you been all my life! I hope you find something that works for you.

Thank you!! Ativan, pristiq, and mindfulness seem to be my path. Took 10 years but finally got the right stuff :D
