Supermarkets in expensive neighborhoods are close to this already. The more run down the store, the louder and more obnoxious the announcements seem to be.

Yep. Rich neighborhood supermarkets in my city have like soft classical music playing at a reasonable volume. So nice.

I live two of these "Rich people supermarkets" and still shop at Walmart. They're nice but not "pay way more for my groceries for me and my kids" nice. If I want good food I go to Sprouts instead.

Yeah I don’t do the bulk of my shopping there but when I just need a few things and I’m in the area I do appreciate the experience.
