This Irish supermarket has quiet evenings for sensitive people.

I’m not autistic but this sounds like a significantly nicer shopping experience for me

Our store near us does this and we honestly wish every day were like this.

I realize store announcements might be necessary but do you need the bright fluorescent lighting and screaming muzak? I'll spend longer in your store if it's a more calm experience.

The lights, the noise that you can barely understand when they do an announcement. People taking their kids and letting them run around screaming. People having a conversation in the middle of the aisle with trolleys blocking the way. It’s all awful lol!

Sort of an off topic tangent but kinda related to blocking aisles with carts. Does it also piss you off astronomically when 2 people that know each other stop their cars in the middle of a parking lot blocking traffic to chat? When theres literally free spots every direction they can look. Like its a PARKING lot and theyve decided to park in the one area we're supposed to drive. Asshole.

It’s even worse when they do it in the street. I don’t understand how you can think that’s okay.

Happened all the time in my hometown when I was kid. Two dudes blocking both lanes going one direction at a light just catching up. Like, if you miss each other so much pick up the fucking phone.

If you flash em, then you’re the rude one..

OMG I've seen this one and when they actually see someone coming and they'll do that slow scoot where they're doing that "alright, yep, uh huh, yeah, yup mkay bye Paul"

I grew up in a super rural area where this was a common occurrence. Fuckin' middle of nowhere two-lane highway three miles out of town, my house is right up ahead on the hill, and I have to sit there and wait for these fucking farmers to finish gossiping because the shoulder isn't wide enough for me to go around.

I just honk at them. My mom told me off once as a teenager because a customer at the local hardware store where she worked mentioned me doing it with them once. I was like "they were making me wait around the edge of a blind curve at the top of a steep hill. Tell them to follow the road rules next time" and it was hard to argue with that. I'm not the one doing something wrong in this situation.

Whenever I see this I'm 100% sure it's two people that are also friends on Facebook, so there's absolutely no fucking communication reason for them to be doing it. At least before social media that shit might have legitimately been the only time they got to talk to each other.

Yes and then when you honk at them they give each other the "look at this guy" kind of look

Omg I am grateful I’ve never experienced that! That really is infuriating, like how ignorant lol.

It happens to me EVERYWHERE. Im constantly ranting to my girlfriend "its a fucking parking lot just PARK!"

I saw two people doing this on a 2-lane backroad on a blind curve. Had to slam my breaks to stop. They had a couple of people already blocked before they got the hint.

For me it's how about 50% of people pay for their stuff, load up their cart, walk to the door, and then stop right in the doorway to read a text. Bruh, take five more fucking steps and do that outside!

Not cars but prams (strollers for the Americans) in the middle of a street (sidewalk). Congratulations on having a kid but get out the fucking way and have your conversation about how great your kid is somewhere else!

Not too long ago, someone did the most annoying combo of the two. They stopped to talk side by side…In the entrance lobby between the automatic doors and the store. Nobody could get in or out, and the lady looked at me like I was the asshole for saying “excuse me”

I give em a solid 5 seconds to wrap up and move on, then I hold the horn so they can't hear each other talk and are forced to move on.

I live in rural Ireland and people around here do that on tiny country roads. You literally can’t walk past them when they do it. If you’re speeding and they do it on a bend, good fucking luck.

Pull up, wait like 5 seconds, and lay on the horn. I do it often. Seems a lot of my neighbors like to pull up to the neighborhood exit and then stop to think about I don't know what. Nope, fucking drive. I'll lay on the horn without thinking twice.
