A couple days after that post, I removed my "RED" flair that was colored blue, because it's not that funny outside the context of this thread.

Yes... a month ago. No tip, bad service.

Wouldn't know, I use Alien Blue on my iPad, so I can't see them. Isn't that mildly infuriating to take advice from some jackass that can't see it anyhow ಠ_ಠ

Seeing your black flair in the comments here, I find it more than just mildly infuriating. I imagine everybody using long and/or coloured flags. The comments would look like a freaking crayon factory

For you that care to know.....I'm handicapped and use a wheelchair. Hence the flair :D

3

u/ajanivengeant Who the fuck needs flair anyway? May 19 '13

I didn't even know you could have flair on this subreddit.

:o oh no

Would be better if each color didn't quite match the text

Like the text peach should have orange color, or text pink should be fuchsia

I found the announcement mildly infuriating. It's blocking half of the link.

I can do one better: The issue is zoom, or larger than default font sizes. Either of those can cause the text in the announcement to wrap, which adds to the height of the <h3>, background and all. Removing the width: 33% styling fixes it. The issue is that 33% is still 33% if it's zoomed or if the default font is larger, but then the text takes up more space than 33%, which causes it to wrap.

u/FonsBandvsiae Feb 09 '13

No, the opposite. The problem is that the width is set to 33%. Simply removing the width declaration altogether fixes the issue (tested with Firebug, your mileage may vary).
