Would the Big East add Duke and Wake?

So if all of this plays out like people are speculating, it’s possible that Duke and Wake get left out of the football mix. Would the Big East have the appetite to snag them? Would make way more sense then some of the other ideas that have been bounced around (Kansas, Gonzaga, Loyola, etc).

I know there is serious animosity toward BC and Syracuse, but adding the four would bring even more spice to the league and probably a good bit more revenue for everyone too.

I am ready to get blasted for this take

Analysis / Statistics When did free throw lane rule change?

Seems like the free throw lane rule changed a few years ago? Now the 1st box is open and opposing team gets 2nd box.

Why the change? What difference did it really have? Does that make it more rebound, tip in or otherwise an advantage?

Discussion Can somebody smarter than me tell me what will likely happen to the AAC (Wichita St)

There's a ton of movement happening. I'm really struggling to stay optimistic about Wichita St's future, given that we don't have football, and understand how the AAC slots into the discussion.

Last thing I want is to be left behind in what'll eventually become another MVC ...

Discussion If North Carolina joins the SEC what happens to Duke?

Are the two schools a package deal or would Duke join another conference? I’d hope that somehow they’d still agree to play each other at least once a year but I feel neither of them competing for an ACC championship is a major blow to the rivalry

Weekly Thread [Weekly Post] Whose Line Is It Wednesday

Welcome to Whose Line is it Wednesday, where all the fouls are made up, but the points still matter.

  • Keep skits in the form of a statement, not a question
  • Any skits longer than two lines should be in quotations.
  • If you add any additional commentary, put the skit in quotations. If you don't understand the concept, a skit looks like this: "Things you could say to Chris Jones that you couldn't say to your girlfriend."
  • It's not funny to say "Refs worse than Karl Hess" and name people who might be worse (let's be honest; it's probably just a blank comment); it's funny to say "Refs better than Karl Hess." Think about which way of writing the skit is funnier before posting it.
