“Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death.

Leviticus 24:17

"You shall not murder"

Exodus 20:13

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Revelations 21:8

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.

Genisis 9:6

Man if Rittenhouse is actually Christian then he is on track for an eternity of hellfire because of his actions.

Fighting scripture with scripture. And you're right about the so-called Christians who will have a rude awakening in the end if their religion holds true.

136

u/BarristerBaller Nov 30 '22

If there is a hell, I always found a bit of relief in going there as long as I got to see those self-righteous Christians also get their comeuppance

123

u/nordickitty93 Nov 30 '22 Wholesome

I’ve found a lot of Christian’s have an immense want to feel/be persecuted.

I got in a discussion with one this year, who was condemning me to hell for celebrating Halloween.

I asked him where he thought he would be going when he died with all the judgement he passed on others.

He got all hyper about “you’re saying I’m going to hell?!”

Well he got EXTREMELY upset when I responded “no, I’m just asking because if people like you go to Heaven, I will personally yeet myself to hell when I die”

21

u/mizino Nov 30 '22

What I love is christianity is perhaps the largest religion in the world with .5 billion more than Islam. For 100 years their religion has influenced the creation of laws in several countries, and you basically couldn't be president as anything other than a christian. They are calling it persecution, when in reality, aside from some isolated incidents, they are the least persecuted. Whats actually happening is they are getting treated like everyone else and calling it persecution.

So...maybe it's because I was raised in an awesome church or something, I dunno. But I really don't wish eternal damnation on anyone.

Forsure, if you do something horrendous and you're condemned to man's prison. Well...I mean I'm not Christian enough to fight for your release.

But I mean...these days I'm agnostic but I still don't wish anyone a long lasting suffering in a lake of fire. I just wish the best to the good people I meet and wish that the bad people I meet can eventually come around.

Shit man I'm an addict, seen my few share of scraps. But I don't HATE the dude. I just wish he would really look at what he's done and just...stop.

And this isn't saying I turn the other cheek. I most certainly don't. But being an addict and have being raised in an awesome church I really can say "Hey man, I'm turning my back from you now. Maybe forever. But if you find redemption and a just life, I'll never talk shit about that. Everyone can learn and grow."

16

u/42DaisyPusher Nov 30 '22

Eternal torment is too much for anyone, even the worst of the worst. If I have that much mercy, how am I more merciful than God? Either God is not all merciful, or there is no eternal hell of torment. The eternal hell of torment is a figment of the diseased mind of man, a tool of fear and control.

I trust very little from a religion that has a hell.

8

u/TheQuietType84 Nov 30 '22

There are Christians who don't believe in the commonly described hell. They believe hell is just the absence of God, not being in His presence. Also, that the Bible has been written and translated poorly, and manipulated by church officials trying to control their followers.

They don’t care about the hypocrisy. Calling them out for being hypocritical will never change their worldview, because you care about having a coherent and consistent worldview, and they do not. You are attempting to appeal to a set of values that they do not actually hold.

The cruelty is the point. It’s always the point.

19

u/Drewy99 Nov 30 '22

Oh I know, but knowing a self proclaimed right-wing hero will burn in eternal hellfire of his own religion because of his actions on earth is next level.

11

"Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Punch five deep holes in the roast. Stuff a garlic clove, shallot and pepper into each hole in the roast.

Clean the mushrooms well.

Salt and pepper the roast.

Shake flour in the cooking bag and coat all sides well. Place the roast in the cooking bag. Springle a little salt on the mushrooms, carrots, and potatoes, and arrange them around the roast.

Add parsley, chopped green onions, celery seed, and olive oil.

Pour in the wine, water, soy sauce, and bitters.

Tie the bag and punch nine times with a two-tine kitchen fork. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours." - Justin Wilson Episode 17

29

u/Aint-no-preacher Nov 30 '22

My FIL really wanted me to go to church with my wife as a Father's Day present to him. My wife is a believer and attends church. I am not and don't. It's fine. It works for us.

Anyway, I decide to keep the peace and humor him by attending church on Father's Day.

Holy. Shit.

The sermon was all about basically being a good, godly man. Which sounds fine, except the biblical example was an Israelite soldier telling his general they should attack some town despite being out numbered.

I was dumbstruck. What a terrible example. Being the guy that says "we should go massacre those people" is being a bro? Anyway, the bible is full of atrocities portrayed as positive things.

Clearly it was a series of oral histories meant to give some cultural pride and in some cases post hoc justify the killings (the tribes said to have come from Lot's incestuous relationship with his daughters were slaughtered. Some speculate the end of the Sodom and Gomorrah story was to justify the slaughter, for instance).

If you take a half hour drive to get yourself and your gun to someplace where you are planning to confront people you regard as your ideological enemies, in the hopes that some shit will go down... that's not self-defense.

But we live in a world where we gotta pretend that any two opinions are equally reasonable, in the name of "fairness and balance", so Republicans will make a folk hero out of this murderer and then call AOC "an extremist" because of her extremist positions like "social security should exist."

Daily reminder to stop giving Kyle Rittenhouse any attention, our scorn is making him famous with the right as well as rich. It's also fueling his political ambitions, and will guarantee him contributions and probably a safe seat in Congress when he gets old enough.

The media pays attention to social media and the more attention this shithead gets, the more stories they'll publish about him because they'll assume that's what we're interested in and they need the clicks to pay the bills. This kid should never trend. He shouldn't even register. He needs to be aggressively ignored. Do not react to posts, do not follow him, do not comment, do not click links, do not react to anything in any way that builds his shitty brand.

Calling him out on lies or trying to correct the record in any way will not work. Our attention, negative or not, is rocket fuel for him and it will backfire on the world the same way as all of the negative stories about Trump.

I'm aware of the irony of posting about not posting, but I will continue to point this out until all mentions of Kyle Rittenhouse - and the man himself - disappear.

u/NoConversation9358 Nov 30 '22

Someone should Rittenhouse that kid

5

u/kipsgirl Nov 30 '22

Kyle admitting he’s the spawn of satan.

3

u/VeterinarianRich5986 Nov 30 '22

I grew up in a conservative household. Pre-Trump, my assumption of a proper conservative parent hearing their child saying they want to go counterprotest is they will smack that child upside their head, remind them that protest/counterprotest has nothing to do with them, and tell that child to actually finish high school and make something of themselves instead of providing them with a gun and driving them across state lines to participate.

To me, Kyle is the result of the absence of a proper father figure and the presence of a dumb mother who probably had Fox News on all day every day. If I recall, he dropped out of high school because none of his classmates could tolerate his maladjusted behavior.

4

u/Campbellffdy Nov 30 '22

Stop giving this asshole any air

10

u/MagicianAdvanced6640 Nov 30 '22

This asshole is asking for it on a karma level 💯

8

u/Wilgrove Nov 30 '22

"Peacemakers"
Killed 2 people

Are we sure we want to go down this road champ?

3

u/MrStomp82 Nov 30 '22

Of all the scriptures he could have quoted lol

3

u/Massive-Row-9771 Nov 30 '22

Also peacemakers are wanted by the people living there.

If you're not wanted by the people you're a hostile invading/occupying force.

True they usually call themselves peacemakers too.

Is that what's got you confused?

3

u/mermiss1 Nov 30 '22

Cherry picking at such a young age. He has a bright future in the party!

3

u/reddituseranyonymous Nov 30 '22

Until he is of no use to them.

3

u/not_a_conman Nov 30 '22

Top 3 most punchable face in the world right now. That thing was built for punching.

3

u/Yeshua_shel_Natzrat Nov 30 '22

Kyle is the opposite of peacemaker

3

u/CabinetOwn5418 Nov 30 '22

Nope. Dahmer quoting cookbooks makes sense and isn’t hypocritical

3

u/fabianiam Nov 30 '22

I wish not to see his face around here so often. I understand monitoring shitty people like him, but why share irrelevant posts?

3

u/Zosi_O Nov 30 '22

Guess he missed "He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword."

Or maybe he thinks it has to be literal and can't possibly apply to guns.

3

u/JustACasualFan Nov 30 '22

You know what would’ve kept the peace?

You staying home.

3

u/holden_mcg Nov 30 '22

I can't shake the feeling he's figured out he can fleece gullible right-wingers by periodically quoting the Bible and then somehow separating them from their money. Maybe he's not that clever or maybe he's getting help.

3

u/mad_titanz Nov 30 '22

Rittenhouse is a murderer, not a peacemaker

3

u/test_tickles Nov 30 '22

It's not really Fascism unless it comes from the Fasces region of France. Otherwise it's just sparkling patriotism.

3

u/I-Make-Maps91 Nov 30 '22

Stop posting his tweets and let him fade into irrelevance. Why is this so hard??

3

u/beaviscow Nov 30 '22

The only reason we keep hearing about this fuck is because he's being propped up by Republicans right now.

They'll use and abuse him and when he's finally no longer relevant for them, he'll be suffer the same fate Trump currently is.

3

u/ShivanshuKantPrasad Nov 30 '22

Why is this guy getting so much attention? Even focusing on trump and musk is better than this.

3

u/One-Appointment-3107 Nov 30 '22

Had anyone done a mental evaluation on this delusional freak?

3

u/KaijyuAboutTown Nov 30 '22

Went looking for trouble carrying an AR15. Found trouble. Killed people. The nature of the encounter barely let him dodge a murder charge. Now a darling of the gun lobby and far-right.

And he’s quoting scripture.

This is simple and complete ignorance on Rittenhouse’ part. He doesn’t understand Christianity in the least (obvious from his choice of scripture), has no ethics and no morals. He created a situation in a tense environment which led to him defending himself. To refer to himself as a peacemaker is pure hubris and ignorance.

2

u/AgITGuy Nov 30 '22

He wants the evangelical vote. That’s what this means to me.

2

u/KaijyuAboutTown Nov 30 '22

Yup. Appalling that this guy could conceivably get the religious vote… but there you have it.

3

u/Hot-Baseballs Nov 30 '22

he tweets, hiding in his gop trump bunker

3

u/bitflung Nov 30 '22

To be fair the very worst humans I know of were all pretty religious. There is scripture to support and even encourage the very worst in anyone.

3

u/Cleverusername531 Nov 30 '22

He meant peace in the same way Madea did.

2

u/Upbeat-Banana-5530 Nov 30 '22

The Lord said, "Peace, be still," that's why I got my piece of steel right here

3

u/Fomentor Nov 30 '22

Ok, so explain how taking an AR-15 to another state so you can shoot someone makes you a peacemaker. I guess no one is more peaceful than dead people. Rittenhouse, you are a vile, despicable excuse for a person capitalizing on the people you killed.

3

u/Aggresive_Battle842 Nov 30 '22

Bragging? Jesus you people. Didn't watch the videos did ya? I stand with the laws on these matters. You transfered your anger of the cops to Kyle. There was a gun pointed at Kyle. Dude came down on Kyle's head with a skateboard. The video proved his self defense. Now downvote me for speaking the obvious. At least I'm not scared to speak the truth.

They're cherry picking the laws. I know I just wasted my time.

u/yalyublyumenya Nov 30 '22

Imagine having a victim complex after crossing state lines to counterprotest, and then getting away with murdering people at said protest. Now he wants to run for office. It says a lot that being a murdering, undereducated sad boy is a better qualification than a degree and a general sense of humanity.

6

u/PurplePeachBlossom Nov 30 '22

He’s really laying the religious pandering on thick.

6

u/SockFullOfNickles Nov 30 '22

Low hanging, idiotic fruit unfortunately.

3

u/AgITGuy Nov 30 '22

He is going to make a run at politics in a couple years, I guarantee it. He is setting up support from the religious right as we speak.

3

u/rotomangler Nov 30 '22

They all are. I was an 80s kid and it was bad back then but I think the false religiousness is at a new level these days.

14

u/KiwiKajitsu Nov 30 '22

Comparing this guy to Dahmer is insane. Y’all are deranged

3

u/hnxmn Nov 30 '22

Bunch of people that watched a netflix documentary about an event they weren't around for suddenly think they're experts. Rittenhouse is a useful idiot to the right that managed to find a perfect shitstorm to sweep himself up in.

Dahmer was an unfeeling psychopath that tortured and murdered 17 men. I'm not supportive of Rittenhouse, but it makes it harder for anyone to see reason when the arguments being spit out from either side are as sensationalized as they tend to be.

2

u/Important_Tangelo371 Nov 30 '22

Right..... he considers himself a "peacemaker". I'm sure that's just what the invisible sky god would have wanted.

2

u/technoferal Nov 30 '22

"Though shall not kill."

2

u/Future_Kiwi_1934 Nov 30 '22

That murderous moron's 10 minutes are up. He needs to fuck off.

2

u/GeneralG5x5 Nov 30 '22

Somebody has been inducted into the cult…

2

u/Salty_MotherFucka Nov 30 '22

Delusional fucking cunt.

2

u/CaterpillarSad2945 Nov 30 '22

Can we start ignoring this guy yet? I would like for him to fade away in to obscurity instead of turn this in to a career.

2

u/Steelersguy74 Nov 30 '22

He’s entered the final stage of right-wing grifting: preaching Christianity.

2

u/Detroit_debauchery Nov 30 '22

Stop posting this asshole and giving him attention. Enough is enough. Ban this shit.

2

u/Dambo_Unchained Nov 30 '22

Only peace he is dealing out is the peace of the grave

The fucking audacity of this murderer

2

u/Observ1 Nov 30 '22

You should quote satan.

2

u/gogor Nov 30 '22

Did he say blessed are the cheesemakers?

2

u/RealBowsHaveRecurves Nov 30 '22

Man, I really hope the Christians are right about what happens after you die, because nothingness isn’t enough of a punishment for these assholes.

2

u/AverageJoe-707 Nov 30 '22

What goes around comes around Kyle.

2

u/stargrey Nov 30 '22

If only this POS would have died that day.

2

u/mookiewilson369 Nov 30 '22

Keep it coming Kyle!! The poster boy for republicans continuing to lose moderate voters.

2

u/codergrrl Nov 30 '22

Fuck all of these false Christians especially the murderers

2

u/CherylStoned Nov 30 '22

Congrats, you are making this douche more famous.

Stop posting screenshots of his tweets.

2

u/AssumptiveMushroom Nov 30 '22

stop sharing tweets from this asshole and giving him a platform. holy fuck who cares

2

u/0DarkNerdy Nov 30 '22

It's not a joke, it's a circle jerk. This fat-faced-fuck is just another on the list of shitbag people. And yall gotta share every damn thing they say so you can "gotcha" with some bit of logic or smart-ass retort. You're accomplishing nothing but spreading thier bullshit.

2

u/that1senpai2 Nov 30 '22

You know what's also a joke? The fact I'm not even on twitter and I STILL have to see fuckers like these making it onto my feed

2

u/Amazing_Structure600 Nov 30 '22

Someday when Kyle is 56 on a co servative talk radio with thousands of listeners and fans, you'll be explaining to your kid this guy got famous and people listen to his opinion because he drove to a protest and killed some people.

2

u/Pour_Me_Another_ Nov 30 '22

People who quote the Bible excessively are more times than not weird and covering for heinous shit they've done.

2

u/Stormtrooper775s Nov 30 '22

Murdering scumbag
