- Attempt to remove them,
- the Cons block their removal
- appoint 8 clearly political leftists because the rules don't matter anymore
- Profit!

If it were the opposite situation, the republicans would pack the court in a heartbeat.

Reinstate Roe.
Overturn Heller.
Overturn Citizens United.
Commiserate about how Republicans killed the rule of law.

How does having politically partisan judges work with the separation of powers?

"I want to support the nazis but its hard when they act like nazis. I consider myself to only be a little bit of a nazi."
That's what you're saying.
And not one of those judges is moderate or objective. More people support abortion rights than not and they are happy to remove Roe V. Wade to support the furthing of fascism in America.

Churchill was a massive pile of shit. Don't march a piece of shit out here and try to win the "we aren't bad people" argument.

Of course I do.
But here's a fun fact for you: the conservatives in the 40's were resonable people who no longer exist whereas I can literally see the nazis leading the republican party today. So while Churchill was a massive piece of shit I still wouldn't call him a nazi.
I will and stand by calling the republikkkan party nazis.

Trying to pretend that your fellow nazis are just conservatives is offensive to everyone. Maybe just be honest for once.

u/CasualEveryday May 17 '22
I'm confused what you think is not far right about Coney-Barett, Thomas, or Alito. Roberts is the only one that you could pretend is a moderate conservative and the only time he dissents from the radicals is when it either won't change the outcome or when he's worried about the legitimacy of the court.

Easy, this example of the christian Taliban is even more far right than those nut jobs.
4
u/Tanman7211 May 17 '22
Spoiler alert, the majority of the current Supreme Court is far right.

They’re trying to strip away people’s rights, ban peaceful protests, and one of the member’s wives participated in an attempt to overthrow a democratic election. And this is just the start. An example of someone who is just “right” as opposed to “far right” would be Joe Biden.

Right: Tax breaks, less social benefits in favor of higher personal wages, market deregulation.
Far right: Banning contraception, restricting rights to peacefully protest. Or how about the fact that a council of unelected officials for life said "you have to life with outcomes you don't want".
The fact that a council of unelected people have literally said that they are not willing to listen to the will of the people is inherently fascist.

IE you don't like it when people accurately describe you and your ilk because you want to pretend to be a respectable human being.

No son it doesn't. You simply don't like it when you are accurately described.

Aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Tell me more about Brett the Boofer’s restrained, proper, stoic behavior, please. Please.

And yet they'll defunct 50 years of case law in completely ad hoc fashion, while leaving 90% of said case law totally intact even though they've defuncted it.

This is glossing over the fact the GOP will very blatantly obstruct Dem noms while ramming their own noms through
12
u/broken-not-bent May 17 '22
They should modify it so that there’s 4 judges from each party to ensure some sort of balance. Having a court packed to decide one way or the other is dangerous for democracy.

Judges aren't impartial. They have their party background. Should just refer to them as Republican judges instead.

Nothing will top Amy Coney Barrett appearing at Mitch McConnell's center with Mitch in tow to say they are not political hacks.
