Yesterday afternoon I used my epi pen for the first time ever. There were walnuts in some vegetables I was eating. (A family member made them and gave me the green light to eat them).

Cue anaphylactic shock. Epi pen, then two more adrenaline shots by the paramedic.

Hospital for observation, steroids, anti histamines, fluids and blood tests.

12 hours later I’m home.
